This is a belated weekly post as we are still "recovering" from our week in Europe. The cruise on the Baltic Sea was great fun. We got incredibly lucky with the weather - it was sunny every day (except the last sea day on the way back to Copenhagen), but not as hot as what my family endured in Germany. Every stop was very special - in addition to Copenhagen, we visited Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki, and St. Petersburg. I want to take time to process our trip (and our pictures!) and with time I might write more about each stop, but for now I will just say that it was terrific to see my parents and to take this special trip together. These memories will last forever.
It would not do to leave this short post without St. Petersburg picture. In the background it's Winter Palace that houses a famous Hermitage collection (we spent two precious and packed hours there). I hope to write more about it later.
