Supplementing an Elementary School Math Curriculum At Home

Are you concerned about the state of math education in your children’s elementary schools? Coming from the country with a strong emphasis on STEM from early ages, I am not just concerned, I am horrified. This is why we do a lot of home to keep our daughter challenged in math, and I am delighted to be a guest at Teach Beside Me today and share some ideas for supplementing an elementary school math curriculum at home.

Let me introduce you to Karyn at Teach Beside Me. Karyn is a homeschool Mom of three kids who range from 9 to almost 3, with another baby girl to be born in January. You can find Karyn at her wonderful blog, at Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, and Twitter.
