IMG_1472-003I love the time of the year between start of fall and Christmas, because it brings so many important events – my only daughter’s birthday, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and my own birthday. I would like to use this opportunity to give back to my readers and hopefully meet some new blog friends. That’s why every Thursday I will run a giveaway and send books, toys and art supplies to their new owners. These are not sponsored giveaways, I am sharing things that we either loved but outgrew or for whatever reasons we have extras. So please join in and spread the word.

A Giveaway for Puzzle Lovers

IMG_1628

This Thursday I am giving away a set of Ravensburger Puzzles – a construction puzzle, a transportation puzzle, and a box of 3 farm puzzles. I recommend this set for children 4+. Those flat puzzles are especially tricky, because “inside picture” underneath the puzzle pieces shows “an inside view” of what is in the puzzle, for example, something that is under the road.

This giveaway is open to US and Canada and will close on October 10, 2013. The winner will be notified by their entry email on October 2nd, after she/he is confirmed as entering correctly. The winner has 48 hours to provide me with your mailing address before another winner is selected.

The biggest puzzle I've ever completed was 1000 pieces, but I've seen them at 5000 pieces and more! I like puzzles to be relaxing, not something else to stress me out! lol

My daughter was given a 100 piece puzzle when she was 2...it's a large floor puzzle and lots of fun...but boy, 2 was young for that one!

Either 500 or 1000. My mom does big puzzles, or she did. Now she is on a math problems for relaxation spree :)

I LOVE those Ravensburger puzzles - we had a few when I was a kid. I need to track some down for my kids, maybe for Christmas.

I have helped do a large one but I have never attempted one myself!

I almost always get 1000 piece puzzles. I think I may have worked a bigger one a time or two, but it's been a while so I'm not really sure. I tried a 3D puzzle once & didn't care for it at all. I love to work puzzles with my grandkids. Our goal is always to finish it the same day!

The largest one I've done so far is 500 pieces. I tried a larger one once and the cat lost some of the pieces. So much for that Lol

I don't remember how many pieces it was, but we attempted the 3D Taj Mahal puzzle. It sat half done for a while. :)

Mine was a 1000 pc puzzle that had no rhyme or reason-you had to figure out questions and their answers to put together. pretty awesome

A one thousand piece was our largest. Any larger than that and we would lose pieces before we could complete it.
