I love the time of the year between start of fall and Christmas, because it brings so many important events – my only daughter’s birthday, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and my own birthday. I would like to use this opportunity to give back to my readers and hopefully meet some new blog friends. That’s why every Thursday I will run a giveaway and send books, toys and art supplies to their new owners. These are not sponsored giveaways, I am sharing things that we either loved but outgrew or for whatever reasons we have extras. So please join in and spread the word.

Giveaway for Fairy Tale Lovers

This week I am giving away Enchanted Kingdom Peel & Stick Jr craft kit. It’s great for developing those important fine motor skills and for letting your imagination flow. This giveaway is open to US and Canada and will close on November 7, 2013. The winner will be notified by their entry email on November 8th, after she/he is confirmed as entering correctly. The winner has 48 hours to provide me with your mailing address before another winner is selected.

We mostly do easy contact paper collages, but I think fabric and feathers are high on my list for adding to paper!

I like using scrapbook paper, feathers, google eyes, and tissue paper. Really, anything that is in reach is in danger of being added to a collage in our house!

we like to use anything that we can recycle. The kids like to add a leaf they found or a shell. We print out a lot of graphics and add to stiff board to add depth.

We always used anything available for collage. Yarn, pasta, leaves, dried flowers, buttons, ribbons, beads, broken jewelry parts, etc. etc.
