In our lives. It was a beautiful week, but, unfortunately, the weather decided to turn gloomy and rainy just in time for Easter. Anna had a little writing contest in school and won one of two spots of being a “bunny helper” for her class Easter preparations – she was thrilled even though she completely doesn’t believe in Easter bunny.

Afterschool. I don’t profile our afterschool activities much, since Anna is a lot more “self-directed” now. We spend a lot of time outside together or playing chess and other board games. This week she also learned a little about the intricacies of tax returns as we took her with us to the HR Block. We do it every year, but this time she actually asked a lot of questions Smile

Things we are doing. So our “field trip” this week was to the HR Block, and we took it easy this weekend after a big trip to the snow last weekend and after having a big Passover meal earlier this week with our friends. Anna had her usual gymnastics class – she is now in the next level class, and she seems to be liking her new coach and new challenges a lot.

Happiness Picture of the week

I think it is wonderful that she won the writing contest. It sounds like a great week with chess and gymnastics and a passover feast.

Our weather is finally warming up, but our yard still has snow! I love that Anna asked questions at h&r block!

Are those California poppies?

It's so funny Anna was interested in taxes! I'm glad she enjoys playing by herself. I'm very jealous your spring is much further along! :)
