imageNovember was a busy month for me. I traveled three times and writing this post from lovely Vienna. We all had nasty colds earlier in the month, but at least we start December all healthy. We enjoyed Thanksgiving celebration and now I am really looking forward to coming back, wrapping up my work for this year and going on a Christmas break. I really want to turn my work email off and spend time enjoying time with my family and preparing for the next year. I already set aside books that we want to read every day of December and jotted a list of activities that I would like to do this month. I am not sure how much of this will happen, especially in the first two weeks when I am still going to be very busy with work, but better be prepared:

  • December 1 – Christmas Cards
  • December 2 – Mama home (I hope – a tight connection in London might trip me up here)
  • December 3 – Mama’s birthday
  • December 4 – Christmas tree outside
  • December 5 – Letter to Santa
  • December 6 – Saint Nick Day
  • December 7 – Shop for a child in need
  • December 8 – Make cookies for a cookie party next day
  • December 9 – Cookie party
  • December 10 – Decorate Christmas balls
  • December 11 – Felt Christmas Craft
  • December 12 – Christmas and Hanukkah cards
  • December 13 – Fuse bead craft (from unused crafts from the last year)
  • December 14 – Donate clothes/food/toys
  • December 15 - Paint by number craft
  • December 16 – Pinecone Christmas tree craft
  • December 17 – Gingerbread cookies
  • December 18 – Snowman craft
  • December 19 – Hanukkah craft
  • December 20 – Hanukkah starts (making latkes)
  • December 21 – Angel craft or maybe this one
  • December 22 – Hanukkah party
  • December 23 – Santa craft
  • December 24 – Christmas!
  • December 25 – Toy day
  • December 26 – Snegurochka (Russian snowmaiden) craft
  • December 27 – Bake something
  • December 28 – Hanukkah ends (making latkes)
  • December 29 – Thank You notes
  • December 30 – New Year resolutions
  • December 31 – New Year craft (fireworks?)

What’s on your list for December?

Souunds like a fun filled creative month. Lots of creating and giving going on here too. Savvy is excited about writing Christmas cards and sending them off, but it's been slow going :)We'll get there!

I'm impressed. I can barely manage weekly activities! I can't imagine planning for each day. December seems to be a bit crazy for me this year. I decided to take on a big project at work, and am thinking it would have been nicer to relax and take time off this month instead. Oh well. Too late now! At least my Christmas shopping is just about done, but I haven't even ordered cards yet!
