It’s been quite a week. We came home from our travels on Monday night, and both me and my husband were quite sick. Anna, on the other hand, was quite happy to be at home and very excited about her last day of school on Wednesday. They had it as a pajama day. Then on Wednesday afternoon she started running a fever and joined the “sick club”. It really stinks that we didn’t come back from our vacation refreshed and reenergized. I hope that we will kick the bug out quickly, so Anna can start her summer week on Monday and I can go on my next business trip next Wednesday.
Reading. One thing that is permanent in Anna’s life – her desire for books. My father snapped this photo at their place, and it cracks me up, because we have a picture of me at about the same age reading a book in the same place. OK, not exactly, I was reading my book on the small potty :) Anna claims that she cannot go #2 without having a book to occupy her.
Field Trips/Science. When my parents picked us up from NYC cruise ship terminal on Sunday, we headed directly to the Museum of Natural History, and straight to the fourth floor to see dinosaurs. Anna was beyond herself with excitement. She was moving so quickly that it was difficult to get a decent picture of her. She was extremely excited to see “real dinosaurs” and touch fossils. I will probably write a separate post on it for Science Sunday.
