I think the red color is especially hard to wash off for some reason. I've never had problems with the others, only red!

Yeah - it's washable off of everything except skin - that requires a good soak in the tub! And I agree that red can be particularly difficult to get off...

She does look quite pleased with herself =)

Oh Yes, Selena did that on me a while back, she didn't color as much of herself as Anna did, probably because she got upset with herself and broke out in a tearful scream when she discovered the marker didn't wipe right off. I agree with the others red is the hardest to get off.

Blue is also very hard to remove, as well as black. Mine color themselves all the time, especially my 2yo. It's not all over her face, I'd say you got off lucky :)

haha yeahh my daughter does this too!! but she'll colour her entire palm.. and then try to make a hand print on her page only to find out it doesn't work!

Why do all children do this? My daughter, now 17, did it with a permanent marker when she was little. And my 3 yr old just a few weeks ago gave himself a mustache and beard.

LOL! She really is so pleased with herself isn't she? And, well, it did keep her occupied and let you do your email, right? :) We've been there too - and I've found red and purple are the toughest ones to clean off of skin (or walls for that matter). Hee hee.

No it is not, we find that out frequently with Princess.
Also, it does not wash out of carpet.
